BBG Board Member Victor Ashe visited the Voice of America New York bureau last week to see the progress made on office and studio renovations as well as offer his support to the staff and journalists there.
“We are very proud of our new look,” said Executive Producer Bob Leverone. “I’m glad Governor Ashe was able to see the renovation progress in person.”
Renovations to the bureau include refurbished offices and production facilities, a revamped control room and new sets including one which overlooks Manhattan from the 30th floor, providing stunning views as its backdrop.
Governor Ashe toured the newly freshened facilities and spoke with Bureau Chief Bernard Shusman and staff about their work and the valuable contributions made by the VOA New York bureau.
