VOA documentary named finalist at New York Festivals
Voice of America’s A Single Step: Journeys of Women Leaders earned a finalist recognition in the Biography/Profiles category. Narrated by Academy Award-winning actress Sally Field and produced by VOA Senior Executive Producer Beth Mendelson, the film profiles five visionary women — an educator, an environmentalist, a media advocate, a social entrepreneur and a public health innovator, who turned bold ideas into social action.
