Sierra Leone workshop on election reporting
BBG Development & Training Director, Joan Mower, and Adelaide Acheampong of BBG’s Accra office conducted an election reporting workshop in Freetown, Sierra Leona, on Jan. 28-Feb. 2, 2018. Twelve local journalists honed their interview skills under the the tough sedition laws, a culture of self-censorship and shortage of money. Joan gave a lecture on political developments in the United States to approximately 100 people at the Africell/American Corner.
