StartUP Africa Training in Ghana
StartUP Africa (SUA) training was born out of “Beyond the Unicorn” documentary. Topics for discussions ranged from “What makes a video great, The Narrative Arc, which covered pre-production/interviewing techniques, and pre-production/shot list creation,” after which participants were grouped into four teams to discuss SUA stories and what makes a good SUA story.
Citi TV comprised four teams visiting four different startup tech companies. Each team was made up of three people: an editor, camera person, and reporter/producer. Teams conducted shooting, interviews, and b-roll with entrepreneurs, transcribed interviews, scripted and edited transcribed interviews and footage. Video packages were reviewed and critiqued to give suggestions for fine-tuning the deliverable packages for use in SUA.
