USAGM offered a three-day workshop in the French on March 2-4, 2022, which focused on the best practices of information verification, the use of new media tools for fact-checking, and how to debunk fake news and hoaxes. The training sessions were interactive and hands-on and included presentations, discussions, group projects, and exercises. Twenty-four training participants worked in groups and individually to verify text and images on social media platforms.
