The three-day training program offered hands-on group story development practicums, PowerPoint presentations, investigative health report video screenings, and Q&A sessions between the trainers, twenty-two participants, and the medical experts. It enhanced journalists’ skills, sparked their interest in ethical reporting of non-communicable diseases, increased knowledge of mental health issues, and motivated them to think outside the box when finding reliable sources for reporting on current health trends.
