Homeland: A documentary and conversation about Afghanistan, one year after the Taliban takeover and U.S. withdrawal
Many Afghans have fled the return of Taliban rule. However, Zahrah Nabi, determined to fight for her rights, decided to stay. Homeland, a new Voice of America short documentary, offers a rare glimpse into the life and dreams of a woman who chose to stand her ground, no matter the consequences. This event, hosted in partnership with VOA, will feature the documentary Homeland and a panel discussion about the documentary, and about Afghanistan in the year since the Taliban takeover and U.S. withdrawal.
