Solutions journalism for countering corruption
Participants of the course enhanced their knowledge and skills in:
  • Covering socially important issues, including defining topics and planning research for Solutions Journalism (SJ) stories
  • Working with and protecting sources of information
  • Analyzing statistics and data for use in SJ stories
  • Using public data and OSINT tools in reporting
  • Verifying information obtained during research

The workshop also featured a training session with Anti-Corruption Agency officials and a field trip to the Khiva Karakol Complex, a farm turned into an environmental and tourism business in the Khorezm region, as a potential Solutions Story site.
