Colombia: Future of radio in the digital era
In Bogota, 32 students and academics from the Military University Nueva Granada participated in a training and conference about the “Future of radio in the digital era.”
Iscar Blanco, from BBG’s Business Development, conducted a session with the students and faculty, most of them Colombian military students, and reporters and producer from the commercial sector.
The event pursued to inform students and academics on the basics of reporting as well as radio news, web and social media trends. We also discussed the future of reporting news events in the digital age, using new technology, editorial balance, and copyrights.
Helmer Gutierrez, Program Manager from UMNG Radio said that he received “new strategies and knowledge to do a better radio” in Colombia.
