TV Marti Interviews Popular Musician
Popular Spanish singer Natalia Jimenez was interviewed on TV Marti to mark the release of her new album, a self-titled solo album.
Jimenez, who was the lead singer for the famous Spanish musical group 5ta Estacion, told TV Marti she does not want to limit herself to a specific genre of music and that her new record is a mix of salsa, bolero, pop, rock, soul and hip hop.
The singer, who lives in Miami, was interviewed by Marti reporter Tomas Regalado.
Jimenez has a history of concern for the people Cuba, and in 2010, she participated in a Miama-based march in support of the Ladies in White, which was organized by Gloria and Emilio Estefan.
The Ladies in White is an opposition movement in Cuba consisting of wives and other female relatives of jailed dissidents.
