Digital trends for station managers
Managers of thirty Francophone affiliates from the DRC and ROC attended the EAST/ SOUTHERN AFRICA: FRENCH AFFILIATE ANNUAL CONFERENCE on JULY 6-10, 2019 in Kinshasa. They were trained on Digital Trends for Station Managers. Topics included: Understanding the internet and how young people are using it; Understanding current trends in digital platforms; What are the popular channels and how can these be used to grow your station/programs; How to move from analog (radio) to digital and why it’s important; Using smartphones to engage a radio audience; How to create a podcast and why it is important; Moderation strategy for online communities; Creating and Maintaining content channels (YouTube); How to create and maintain a media blog.
