Angola: ON-LINE JOURNALISM PRACTICES AND NEW TECHNOLOGY
Forty journalists participated in two-day workshops in Luanda and Huambo. Journalists learned about Angola’s digital environment and why digital journalism in important in covering news and elections. They also honed understanding of ethical reporting, sourcing, and Angola’s laws on media coverage of elections and political campaigns. Training participants practiced use of digital tools for social media verification of information and storytelling for digital media.
