Uzbekistan: Digital Storytelling & Social media Engagement
From September 4-6, 2019, more than 30 Uzbek journalists, journalism educators and other media professionals gathered in Tashkent to learn about “Digital Storytelling and Social Media Engagement from Navbahor Imamova of VOA’s Uzbek service and Tolkun Umaraliev of RFE/RL’s and VOA’s “Current Time” program, as well as Inna Dubinsky and Joan Mower of USAGM’s international media training office. IREX project director Mark Skogen also contributed as a trainer.
