OCB Chief Lew Announces Resignation
Office of Cuba Broadcasting (OCB) Director Salvador Lew announced his resignation today in a letter to President Bush.
Lew said his resignation was prompted by health reasons, according to Broadcasting Board of Governors’ Chairman Kenneth Y. Tomlinson who
thanked Lew for his service.
Fernando Rojas, the OCB Chief of Staff, will serve as Acting Director until the White House announces Lew’s successor, Tomlinson said.
The Broadcasting Board of Governors is an independent federal agency which supervises all U.S. government-supported non-military international broadcasting.
