USAGM applauds bipartisan confirmation of Amanda Bennett to be CEO
Washington, D.C. — USAGM Acting CEO Kelu Chao released the following statement after the U.S. Senate confirmed Amanda Bennett to be CEO of USAGM:

This bipartisan confirmation underscores just how critical it is to Congress and our stakeholders alike that USAGM continue to deliver on its important mission. Now more than ever, people across the world are depending on USAGM’s fact-based news to triumph over increasing misinformation, disinformation, and censorship. I join our entire agency in welcoming Amanda back to serve during this crucial moment for freedom and democracy,” said Kelu Chao, Acting CEO of USAGM.
