USAGM invited 30 participants from multiplatform affiliates in Thailand to a workshop on “Media Literacy: Understanding Misinformation and Disinformation.” Throughout the first two days, the workshop covered topics on the integrity of citizen journalism, audience analysis and receptivity of messages, understanding culture and language differences, and mobile journalism. On the last day, Steven Springer from VOA presented VOA’s standards and best practices.
