Training for USAGM affiliates in Albania and Kosovo
Journalists from VOA and RFE/RL partnered with media organizations in Kosovo and Albania and offered training to enhance comprehension of risks, improve preparedness for assignments and conflict environments, and develop a set of “prepared” responses for diverse situations. This training enabled them to respond to events proactively rather than merely reacting. Additionally, they received hands-on practice in essential personal safety skills and emergency first aid, including techniques for controlling bleeding and assessing the vital signs of injured individuals.
