The United States Agency for Global Media’s rapidly growing, multi-media affiliate network offers vast audiences a wide range of program and content options that are placed by our marketing team. Located in the Americas, Europe, Asia and Africa, our team targets high impact affiliations with major television networks, prominent internet portals and local AM and FM stations.
For our more than 3,000 global affiliates, USAGM offers affiliates commitment, service and success, and continues to engage new broadcast partners and strengthen longstanding relationships. We forge partnerships with U.S. government agencies, non-governmental organizations, foundations and commercial and public broadcasters to create programs that support democratic institutions, good governance, the free flow of information and the free enterprise system.

TV/Video
Our television programming reaches an estimated audience of 208 million people weekly (as of 2021), in significant markets such as Iran and Ukraine.
Radio
Radio broadcasts reach 142 million per week (as of 2021). We continue to enhance our distribution network, adding new FM transmitters in key cities in Chad and Mali.
Web
Our internet audience is 184 million each week (as of 2021). Increasingly, international media outlets are affiliating with us via Direct, our digital distribution system that provides short-form programming in multiple languages. Direct and our growing menu of publishing opportunities through affiliate partner websites, blogs, social networks, mobile applications and distribution to emerging connected devices are helping the U.S. Agency for Global Media reach new audiences.
Training
Programs include conferences, events and public meetings that provide basic journalism best practices, as well as courses on broadcasting, health, education, sales and marketing, business management, newsroom management, disaster preparedness and technical skills. Trainees include radio and television correspondents, Internet journalists, editors, producers, engineers, announcers and managers.
