Yelizaveta Bohutska’s home raided
A dozen police officers raided the Simferopol home of Crimean blogger Yelizaveta Bohutska, a contributor to RFE/RL’s Crimea. Realities website. They confiscated Bohutska’s notebooks and reporting equipment, and held her for six hours of questioning. She told RFE/RL that the police were accompanied by security troops with assault rifles who opened fire in her yard and injured one of her dogs. Bohutska said that while in custody, she was warned that her blogs and online articles are anti-Russian and might be considered extremist. Fearing for her security she has left Crimea, for now leaving her family behind.
