The Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey (FEVS), conducted by the Office of Personnel Management, is a tool for employees to share their perceptions about their work experiences, their agency, and leadership. Employee participation is encouraged but voluntary, confidential, and anonymous.
In 2024, USAGM saw slight increases in three of five survey indexes: Employee Engagement, DEIA, and Employee Experience. additional highlights include:
- For the second year in a row, 58 items were identified as strengths, with 65% or more positive responses
- For the fourth consecutive year, no items were identified as challenges, with fewer than 35% negative responses
- The Office of Cuba Broadcasting saw a global satisfaction index increase of 14.5% from last year
To build on this progress, we are carefully evaluating these results and creating a roadmap to address areas for improvement, while strengthening transparency and accountability across the board.
